What my clients say
Training with Elizabeth is a transformative experience. She epitomizes understanding that fitness is not just about the body, but also about nurturing the mind and spirit. Her holistic approach combines physical training with mindfulness practices, working to build strength and stability, while fostering a deeper connection to self. And the workout is intense! Each session is tailored to my personal and specific needs, and Elizabeth encourages me to push my limits while ensuring I remain balanced and focused. She is steadfast with the rules of safety and injury prevention and imparts these into awareness and practical application to be used outside of the training environ.
I’ve not only seen physical changes but have also gained clarity and confidence in my overall well-being. Elizabeth’s sense of humor is priceless and her compassion genuine. I always feel renewed and energized following a session with her. I wholeheartedly recommend Elizabeth for anyone looking to survive a fantastically challenging workout while also achieving a harmonious mind-body-spirit connection.
I started training with Elizabeth about 15 years ago when I was in my mid-20s and had debilitating pain in my hips and knees. I had been to multiple doctors and specialists who all did their best to figure out what was going on—testing for things from arthritis to lime disease and settling on fibromyalgia. I was not satisfied with this diagnosis so I chose to move away from trying to find a medical diagnosis and explore functional training.
Elizabeth immediately identified an imbalance in my strength and mobility of my smaller, less dominant muscles due to years of improperly training for running and bike races. In addition to the yoga I was already doing, Elizabeth trained me twice a week in person and provided home exercises to do on my own. Her training was unlike anything I’d ever done, using TRX, sandbags, kettle bells, bosu balls, balance discs, my body, and more. The exercises she taught me blew my mind at how difficult the smallest movements could be when you move away from traditional training and into functional strength and stability. After training with Elizabeth regularly and following her direction for my own home workouts, I was pain free for the first time in years.
Now, 15 years later I still train with Elizabeth but my needs have changed. I’m expecting my first child and want to make sure I am training safely and correctly to keep my body strong during pregnancy, prep my muscles and joints for birth, and have a solid foundation for postpartum recovery. Training looks very different these days but what hasn’t changed is Elizabeth’s ability to assess where my body is, listen to what my goals are, figure out what we need to do to get there, and supportively challenge me to accomplish my goals along the way is what makes her an amazing trainer.
Her southern accent, playlists, sense of humor, gusto for living, dogs, and own personal life experiences make training with her more than just a physical experience, but a personal and incredibly fun one too.

Elizabeth classes are always thoughtful, skillful and energetic. She creates an environment that makes you feel very supportive while blending lots of humor and heart in the postures and different sequences in class. Elizabeth is always upbeat, fun & present throughout and makes you feel like we're all in this together.
Elizabeth's instruction has been very helpful with waking up different muscle groups and she phrases things in a way that helped me understand my body differently, even after years of practice.
